Stats
Bio
Recruited from Moomba Park, Neil Gaghan progressed through the Carlton Under-19s to earn a senior debut in 1985. He made an immediate impact with 23 disposals against Collingwood, showcasing his potential as a running half-back and productive ball-winner. However, Gaghan found it difficult to retain his spot in a powerhouse Blues lineup, spending the entire 1986 season in the seconds where he played in a reserves premiership side. Seeking greater opportunity, he headed north to join the Brisbane Bears for their inaugural season in 1987. He added just three games to his tally at Carrara before being delisted, eventually remaining in Queensland to play for Kedron Grange.
