Bio
Recruited from McKinnon in the Federal Football League, Neil McMullin was a rover who broke into the Melbourne lineup for the opening round of the 1974 season. He played the first seven games of the year in succession, rotating through the forward pocket where he kicked his solitary VFL goal against Fitzroy at the Junction Oval. Despite this consistent run of selection early in the campaign, McMullin lost his place in the senior side following a Round 7 loss to Richmond and did not feature at the top level again, eventually departing the Demons to continue his career with Port Melbourne in the VFA.
