Stats
Bio
Recruited from Bentleigh Juniors, Neville Swan arrived at Victoria Park in 1950 as a tall key position prospect. Standing 185cm, he initially showed promise at centre half-back before settling into a role as a full-back, where his defensive mindset was best utilised. The Magpies briefly experimented with Swan as a spearhead in 1951, though the move proved unsuccessful as he struggled with the leading patterns required of a full-forward. He managed 25 senior games over three seasons, providing defensive depth for Collingwood during a competitive era before finishing his VFL career at the end of the 1952 season.
