Bio
A hulking ruckman from Osborne in the New South Wales Riverina, Nicholas Madden joined the Giants via their Academy as a Category B rookie. Standing an imposing 204cm, he spent his initial seasons developing his craft in the VFL, where he became a dominant force at stoppages before an ankle injury derailed a potential debut in 2024. He eventually broke into the senior side in Round 13, 2025, getting the nod against Port Adelaide to relieve the club's ruck stocks. While his sheer size and tap work made him a handful for opposition seconds, Madden largely served as a developing understudy to Kieren Briggs, providing essential depth for the Giants' tall timber during his stint on the list.
