Bio
Recruited from Woodville-West Torrens via the rookie draft, Nick Salter was a versatile key position player known for his booming right boot and capacity to play at either end of the ground. Despite his physical tools and ability to dominate at SANFL level, Salter struggled to secure a permanent spot in the Power's best 22, often finding himself stuck behind established forwards like Warren Tredrea or key defenders such as Alipate Carlile. He spent six seasons on the list—including a period where he was delisted and immediately re-rookied—serving primarily as a depth player who could fill gaps when injuries struck. While he showed glimpses of his potential as a long-kicking swingman, he was unable to translate his state league form into a consistent AFL career and was permanently delisted at the conclusion of the 2013 season.
