Bio
Recruited from Corio, Nigel Kol is best remembered as one half of the identical twin duo that represented two VFL clubs during the 1980s. After managing just two senior appearances for Geelong in 1983, he crossed to Melbourne alongside his brother, Michael, seeking greater opportunities the following season. A wingman capable of drifting forward to hit the scoreboard, Kol played 28 games for the Demons but often found himself on the fringe of selection, struggling to secure a permanent position in the senior side. His career at the top level concluded after the 1987 season, marking a modest stint defined largely by his unique partnership with his sibling at both Kardinia Park and the MCG.
