Bio
Recruited from the country zone of Colac, Noel Fisher arrived at the Brunswick Street Oval in 1934 as a promising forward option. Standing 179cm, he was a mid-sized attacker capable of finding space inside 50, though he found opportunities scarce in a struggling Fitzroy lineup that was largely fighting to stay off the bottom of the ladder. After managing just seven senior games across two seasons, Fisher departed the VFL system to find greater continuity in the Association. He initially joined Preston before establishing himself at Sandringham, where he proved his class as a prolific goal-kicker, booting over 100 goals for the Zebras and becoming a key focal point in their attack during the late 1930s.
