Stats
Bio
A prolific local spearhead recruited from Hughesdale, Noel Webster arrived at Hawthorn with a reputation for scoring power after booting a massive 150 goals in the 1950 season. He initially spent 1951 on Richmond's list playing reserves football but failed to crack the senior side before transferring to Glenferrie Oval. Webster made his VFL debut in Round 12, 1952, playing as a forward, but found the step up in class difficult and managed just three goals across his eight senior games. His brief time at the top level ended after that single season, and he later generated minor controversy in 1954 by appearing as a "mystery player" for VFA club Oakleigh while attempting to force a clearance from the Hawks.
