Bio
A dual-sport athlete recruited from Melbourne University, Norm Mitchell made a brief but effective cameo for St Kilda during the 1925 season. Although his VFL career was limited to just three senior appearances against Fitzroy, South Melbourne, and Essendon, he displayed natural aptitude as a forward by booting three goals to average a major per game. His short tenure at the top level was ultimately overshadowed by his achievements on the cricket pitch, where he represented Victoria in the Sheffield Shield as an opening batsman, and his later professional success as a County Court Judge.
