Teams

Recruited from Fitzroy Juniors, Orm Fowler was a sharp-shooting forward who made the most of a brief tenure at the top level. After managing just a single senior appearance for the Maroons in 1913, he crossed to St Kilda the following season in search of greater opportunity. The move paid immediate dividends, as Fowler established himself as a dangerous avenue to goal for the Saints, booting 11 majors in his nine games for the club. His ability to hit the scoreboard at better than a goal a game made him a valuable contributor during the early war years, though his VFL career ultimately concluded after the 1915 season.
