Bio
Recruited from Mulgrave, Orm Saunders was a productive forward who joined North Melbourne as the club was still finding its footing in the VFL competition. Arriving at Arden Street in 1928, he quickly demonstrated an eye for the goals, managing to boot 14 majors across his 13 senior appearances—a solid strike rate for a player in a struggling side that won few matches during his tenure. Standing 178cm, he offered a reliable avenue to goal during a lean period for the Shinboners, featuring in the senior lineup for two seasons before finishing his VFL career at the conclusion of the 1929 season.
