Bio
Recruited from the Paddington Football Club in New South Wales, Paddy Kelly was a mature-age arrival who played a brief hand in St Kilda’s challenging 1920 campaign. He joined the club at age 24 during a lean era for the Saints, who finished the season with the wooden spoon, and he was unable to help turn the tide at the Junction Oval. A 174cm utility who failed to hit the scoreboard across his seven senior appearances, Kelly could not cement a long-term place in the side, with his VFL career confined to a single winter before he departed the league.
