Stats
Bio
Recruited from the West Melbourne Football Club, Patrick "Dido" Considine arrived at Princes Park in 1898 to bolster the Carlton squad during the VFL's infancy. Operating primarily as a follower, he was a durable and hardworking midfielder who shouldered a heavy workload in the ruck and around the ground. Considine’s career coincided with a bleak era for the Blues, who finished seventh in all four of his seasons, yet he remained a model of consistency amidst the on-field struggles, missing very few matches during his tenure. He concluded his League career at the end of 1901, departing just prior to the arrival of Jack Worrall and the beginning of the club's first golden era.
