Bio
Recruited from Wonthaggi, Pat Davey was a talented forward who dominated the reserves competition but found senior opportunities scarce in a strong Richmond era. A versatile attacker capable of kicking effectively on both feet and marking strongly overhead, he topped the VFL reserves goalkicking table in 1934 but remained stuck behind legendary spearhead Jack Titus in the senior pecking order. After crossing to Prahran in the VFA to seek regular football, Davey returned to Punt Road for a solitary final game in 1942, answering the club's call during the player shortages of World War II before serving with the RAAF.
