Bio
Selected with pick 65 in the 2016 National Draft from the Oakleigh Chargers, Patrick Kerr arrived at Princes Park carrying significant family history as the grandson of Blues Hall of Famer Laurie Kerr. A traditional key forward known for his strong leading patterns and overhead marking ability, he faced the difficult task of breaking into a Carlton forward line that was simultaneously prioritising the development of Harry McKay and Charlie Curnow. While he demonstrated glimpses of his potential as a marking target during his limited opportunities at senior level, Kerr was unable to secure a regular spot in the side and was ultimately delisted at the conclusion of the 2019 season.
