Bio
Selected by West Coast with pick seven in the 2008 Pre-Season Draft, Patrick McGinnity established himself as a disciplined tagger and defensive forward during a nine-season tenure at the club. Renowned for his gritty tackling and ability to nullify dangerous opponents, he often performed selfless run-with roles that endeared him to coaches despite modest statistical output. While he frequently moved between the senior side and the WAFL, McGinnity proved a reliable depth player who brought intensity whenever called upon, notably appearing in the club's 2011 finals campaign before being delisted at the conclusion of the 2016 season.
