Bio
Recruited from Echuca, Paul Brown established himself as a vital swingman for Geelong during their contending years in the 1990s. While often deployed as a defender, he possessed a natural nose for goal, most notably booting 37 majors during the 1992 season and snagging a bag of seven against Fitzroy in 1995. His versatility made him a regular fixture in the Cats' lineup, featuring in both the 1994 and 1995 Grand Final sides. However, his career was prematurely cut short by a severe patella tendon injury, forcing him into retirement at just 29. In recent years, his name has returned to the footy landscape through his children, with daughter Millie (Geelong/Western Bulldogs) and son Tom (Richmond) both reaching the elite level.
