Bio
Recruited from Maryborough in central Victoria, Paul Killeen was a mature-age arrival at Fitzroy who earned his shot at VFL level during the 1929 season. Born in Euroa, the 25-year-old joined the Maroons with a reputation as a solid country footballer and was quickly tested in the senior lineup. Standing 177cm, Killeen was utilized in defensive or midfield roles where he could use his frame to contest possession, though he failed to register a goal during his time in the firsts. His stint at the Brunswick Street Oval proved brief, as he managed just five appearances before departing the club at the end of the year, leaving a minor footprint in Fitzroy's history.
