Bio
Recruited from North Albury in the Ovens and Murray Football League, Paul Ross was a mid-sized utility tried by Footscray during a difficult 1980 campaign. He earned his senior debut in the season opener against Fitzroy but struggled to hold a consistent spot in a side that would ultimately claim the wooden spoon. Ross managed three appearances at VFL level, drifting forward to boot a solitary goal, but was unable to cement a place in the Bulldogs' long-term plans. His tenure at the Western Oval was limited to that single season before he departed the elite level.
