Teams

Recruited from Melbourne University in the amateurs, Percy Tulloh was a sharp-shooting small forward who provided a rare spark for Melbourne during the club's lean years in the early 1920s. Standing just 173cm, he was a deceptive aerialist who could take a strong overhead mark against larger opponents, complemented by his ability to kick accurately on both feet. Tulloh’s individual form peaked when he topped the Redlegs’ goalkicking in consecutive seasons (1923 and 1924), but he gradually fell down the pecking order as the team improved, eventually missing out on the club's drought-breaking 1926 premiership. After drifting out of senior selection, he crossed to St Kilda for a brief, three-game stint in 1928 before finishing his career in the VFA with Prahran and Brighton.
