Bio
Recruited from Wonthaggi in Victoria's Gippsland region, Peter Allan was a solid 182cm player who earned his opportunity at St Kilda during a particularly struggling period for the club. Arriving at the Junction Oval as a 20-year-old, he broke into the senior lineup during the 1955 season, a year where the Saints finished dead last with only one win. Allan managed three appearances at the elite level, stepping into a side that was frequently overwhelmed by the opposition, but he could not secure a permanent spot in the team. His tenure in the VFL was ultimately limited to that single season before he moved on from league football.
