Bio
Recruited from Brighton, Peter Brady joined St Kilda during the club's arduous initiation into the VFL. Arriving at the Junction Oval in 1898, he walked into a side that was statistically the poorest in the competition, struggling to find competitive footing against established powerhouses. Brady operated primarily as a forward option, managing to hit the scoreboard three times in his debut season—no small feat in a team that was frequently held to single-figure scores. He returned for a solitary appearance in 1899 before departing the league, his brief career emblematic of the rotating door of players trying to lift the Saints during their infamous winless drought at the turn of the century.
