Bio
Arriving at Brunswick Street from VFA powerhouse Northcote, Peter Connell was a key-position prospect who joined Fitzroy for the 1936 season. Standing 183cm—a significant height for the era—he was utilized primarily as a forward target capable of supporting the ruck, managing to boot four goals during his brief stint at the top level. Despite showing glimpses of ability across his seven senior appearances, he struggled to cement a permanent place in the Maroons' lineup and departed the VFL scene after a solitary season.
