Teams

A dashing wingman recruited from Claremont, Peter Davidson etched his name into football folklore as a member of the West Coast Eagles' inaugural team in 1987. Following a stellar WAFL stint where he claimed a Best and Fairest and represented his state, Davidson lined up in the Eagles' historic first-ever VFL match against Richmond. Unfortunately, a wretched run of soft tissue injuries limited him to just two games for the club, leading to a premature departure from the top level. He was thrown a lifeline by the Brisbane Bears in 1990, where he briefly displayed his high-end potential by averaging prolific numbers through the midfield in a seven-game cameo. Davidson eventually returned to Western Australia to finish his career, adding a 1992 WAFL premiership with East Fremantle to a resume defined by genuine talent but limited opportunity on the national stage.
