Bio
Peter Freeman was a versatile utility capable of playing at both ends of the ground who debuted for St Kilda in the latter stages of the 1988 season. Despite showing promise by finishing runner-up in the club's reserves best and fairest award in 1989, he struggled to cement a regular spot in the senior side, managing just five appearances over four years at Moorabbin. After being delisted by the Saints, Freeman was thrown a lifeline by the West Coast Eagles with pick 42 in the 1991 National Draft, though he was unable to break into the powerful Eagles lineup during their peak era. He instead found significant success in the WAFL with West Perth, where he reinvented himself as a key target and topped the club's goalkicking in 1994, before eventually returning to Victoria to compete for Frankston in the VFL.
