Fantasy

Recruited from Norwood via the rookie list, Peter Ladhams began his career at Port Adelaide as a mobile ruck-forward known for his athleticism and distinct ability to follow up his own tap work at ground level. While he showed glimpses of his talent at Alberton, opportunities were sporadic behind primary ruckman Scott Lycett, motivating a trade to Sydney at the end of 2021 where he hoped to secure the number one mantle. His tenure in red and white was often fragmented, with injuries and occasional on-field discipline lapses preventing him from building consistent form at the top level. Despite his agility and skill set being well-suited to the modern game, Ladhams largely found himself fighting for a spot in the best 22, ultimately serving as a depth option capable of filling structural gaps rather than establishing himself as the club's long-term ruck solution.
