Bio
Recruited from the Ascot Youth Centre in the Essendon District League, Peter O'Sullivan was a handy wingman and half-forward flanker who broke into the Bombers' senior side in 1952. After a promising start that saw him feature in a semi-final during his second season, O'Sullivan found it increasingly difficult to hold his place in the Essendon lineup and eventually crossed to North Melbourne in 1956. Though he added another 24 senior games during his time at Arden Street, his most memorable performance for the club came in the seconds, where he booted four goals and was named best on ground in the Kangaroos' 1957 reserves premiership victory. He departed the VFL at the end of 1958 to continue his career in the VFA with Coburg before later coaching Sorrento.
