Bio
Recruited from the University Blacks in the amateur ranks, Peter Scott was tried as a centre half-forward during the opening rounds of the 1950 season. His brief VFL tenure consisted of just two appearances, coinciding with heavy defeats at the hands of Geelong and St Kilda as the club struggled for competitiveness. Following this short exposure to the elite level, the 19-year-old ultimately decided he was not suited to the demands of League football and stepped away from the game's highest tier almost as soon as he had arrived.
