Bio
Recruited from VFA club Coburg, Peter Smith was a solid defender who primarily operated at full-back. He arrived at North Melbourne in 1981 but found it difficult to cement a permanent position in a strong Kangaroos lineup, playing 37 games across six seasons at Arden Street. In search of greater opportunities, Smith relocated to Queensland to join the Brisbane Bears for their inaugural season in 1987. However, he was unable to establish himself in the fledgling side, adding just three appearances to his career tally before exiting the league.
