Bio
Recruited from University Blacks in the VAFA, Peter Weekes was a wingman and half-forward who spent four seasons on the fringe of the Melbourne senior team. Making his debut in 1968, he provided depth during a lean period for the Demons but struggled to secure a permanent spot in the starting lineup, often oscillating between the seniors and the reserves. He managed sporadic appearances rather than sustained runs of form, never playing more than nine games in a single season, and eventually departed the VFL scene at the conclusion of 1971.
