Bio
Recruited from Wonthaggi in the Gippsland region, Peter Williams was a rotated between half-forward and rover during his brief stint in the VFL. Standing 178cm, he joined Fitzroy during a bleak period for the club, making his debut against Richmond at the MCG in the middle of the 1965 season. Although he experienced a rare win in just his third senior appearance—a narrow victory over South Melbourne—he struggled to cement a regular spot in the starting lineup. Williams played three more games early in the 1966 season before departing the league with seven matches and two goals to his credit.
