Bio
Recruited from Trentham in the Macedon Ranges, Phil Lynch was a high-marking half-forward who played a valuable role during a historic period for St Kilda. Renowned for his ability to compete in the air and set up teammates, he became a regular fixture in the senior lineup throughout the club's surge up the ladder. Lynch etched his name into the history books as a member of St Kilda’s first-ever Grand Final team in 1913, lining up on a half-forward flank alongside Roy Cazaly in the loss to Fitzroy. Despite his promise and consistency on the big stage, his league career was surprisingly brief, concluding after just two seasons.
