Stats
Bio
Recruited from Numurkah in the Murray Football League, Phillip Harrison struggled to cement a regular senior spot in a strong Geelong outfit but became a key contributor to the club’s depth. A versatile flanker capable of hitting the scoreboard, he booted 10 goals in just seven senior VFL appearances while simultaneously playing a starring role in three consecutive reserves premierships between 1980 and 1982. Seeking greater opportunities, Harrison moved to South Australia in 1983, initially joining North Adelaide before switching to Port Adelaide the following season. It was at the Magpies where he truly flourished, carving out a decorated SANFL career that culminated in back-to-back premierships in 1988 and 1989 before he eventually transitioned into coaching.
