Bio
Recruited from Queanbeyan in the Australian Capital Territory, Phillip Moir was a forward who briefly featured for the Swans during the 1981 season, the club's final year based permanently in Melbourne before relocating to Sydney. He earned his senior debut in Round 14 against Footscray, making an immediate impression by booting two goals in a narrow loss at the Western Oval. Despite maintaining a goal-per-game average across his three senior appearances, Moir was unable to secure a long-term place in the squad during a period of significant off-field instability for the franchise. He returned to lower-level football after his solitary season at VFL level, leaving a brief but efficient statistical record.
