Stats
Bio
Recruited from SANFL powerhouse Sturt, Ralph Green arrived at Princes Park in 1932 as a highly rated interstate talent capable of playing at both ends of the ground. His time in Victoria was unfortunately marred by persistent injuries, which restricted the versatile tall to just five senior games and two goals in the navy blue guernsey. Unable to gain continuity in the VFL, Green returned to South Australia after a single season, where he eventually transitioned from a forward into a standout fullback and served as a playing coach for the Double Blues. While his stint at Carlton was a brief cameo, he went on to forge a distinguished career across the SANFL and WAFL, including representative honours for his home state.
