Bio
Recruited from Keysborough, Reg Kent was a forward who managed a brief senior career with Footscray in the early 1960s. He spent three seasons at the Western Oval but found regular selection difficult to come by, playing just eight games before departing the VFL. While his time at the top level was short-lived, Kent established a formidable reputation as a journeyman goal-kicker in country Victoria. He became a prolific scorer for multiple clubs, topping the league goalkicking tables for East Ballarat, South Warrnambool, and Geelong West in a playing career that extended well into the late 1970s.
