Bio
Reginald Smith arrived at Fitzroy for the 1925 season, making his VFL debut in a historically significant match against the newly admitted Footscray side in Round 1. Standing 183cm, Smith was a tall option for the era and immediately made his presence felt by booting a goal in the Maroons' victory over the league entrants. He served as a useful target in attack during the early part of the year, managing four goals across his first few matches. Despite this promising start, his senior career was brief, restricted to just six appearances in that single season before he departed the VFL scene.
