Bio
Recruited from the Collegians Football Club, Reg Woodhouse was a mature-age debutant who broke into the Melbourne lineup at the age of 29. His brief stint at VFL level occurred during a dire era for the club, with his two senior appearances coming in the final rounds of the disastrous 1906 season where the Demons finished last. Woodhouse was brought into a struggling side that suffered heavy defeats to St Kilda and Collingwood in his only games, unable to help the amateur club salvage a result from a one-victory year. Beyond his short footballing tenure, his legacy includes service in the First World War after enlisting in the Army in 1915.
