Stats
Bio
Recruited from local side Richmond YCW, Renato Ricci was a diminutive rover who progressed through the ranks alongside his identical twin brother, Lidio. The pair were integral members of the Tigers' historic Under-19 premiership side in 1958, but while Lidio departed for Coburg, Renato remained at Punt Road to push for senior selection. His progress was severely hampered by an injury that wiped out his entire 1959 campaign, forcing him to wait until the middle of the 1960 season to make his VFL debut. Ricci managed just two senior appearances for Richmond before transferring to the VFA, where he carved out a successful tenure with Oakleigh, eventually topping the club's goalkicking table in 1961.
