Bio
Richard Radziminski was a precocious talent who debuted for Footscray as a 17-year-old in 1969. A mid-sized utility, he found himself on the fringes of the senior side for three seasons, unable to consistently break into a lineup anchored by icons like Ted Whitten and Gary Dempsey. Although he never kicked a goal in his 14 VFL appearances, playing largely in defensive or midfield checking roles, he secured a small slice of club history as a reserve in the Bulldogs' victorious 1970 Night Series premiership team. Following his departure from the Western Oval, Radziminski enjoyed a prolific second act in the VFA, reinventing himself as a dangerous forward who booted over 100 goals across spells with Williamstown, Sunshine, and Yarraville.
