Bio
A towering ruckman originally from South Fremantle, Ricky Mott holds the rare distinction of playing senior football for three different clubs in three consecutive seasons. After spending time on Sydney's rookie list and managing a solitary debut appearance in 2002, he returned to Western Australia to join Fremantle, where he featured nine times—including the club's historic first final—primarily as support for a developing Aaron Sandilands. Mott was delisted by the Dockers but found a third home at Carlton via the pre-season draft, brought in to shore up the Blues' depleted ruck division. While his 203cm frame provided a genuine contest at stoppages, his limited mobility around the ground curtailed his AFL career, and he was delisted following the 2004 season.
