Bio
Recruited as a prototype big-bodied midfielder with Richmond's first selection (pick 20) in the 2018 National Draft, Riley Collier-Dawkins arrived at Punt Road during the peak of the club's dynasty. Standing over 190cm after a late junior growth spurt, he offered a compelling mix of size and contested ball-winning ability, but faced the unenviable task of cracking into a premiership-winning engine room boasting names like Martin, Cotchin, and Prestia. Consequently, he spent his early years developing in the reserves, where he became a key contributor to the Tigers' 2019 VFL premiership side. He eventually broke through for a promising debut in 2021, showcasing his capacity to stand up in tackles and feed the ball out to runners, but struggled to cement a consistent spot in the best 22. After being delisted at the end of 2022, he continued his career as a high-level state league performer, spending a season in the SANFL with Woodville-West Torrens before returning to Victoria to play for Williamstown.
