Bio
Recruited from the Murray Bushrangers with pick 57 in the 2009 Rookie Draft, Riley Milne was a tall defender brought in to add depth to Hawthorn's backline. After spending his first two seasons developing with Box Hill in the VFL, he was elevated to the senior list and made his AFL debut in Round 11, 2011 against Port Adelaide. Milne played three games that season as a key defensive option but struggled to secure a regular spot in a strong Hawks lineup that was inching back towards premiership contention. Unable to overtake established defenders in the pecking order, he was delisted at the conclusion of the 2011 season.
