Bio
A product of Richmond’s local suburban zone, Robert Fuller was recruited from Forest Hill and progressed steadily through the club’s scholarship squad and under-19s. A half-back flanker, he broke into the senior side late in the 1984 season after winning the reserves Best and Fairest, playing the final four games of the year. Although his time at the top level was brief—ending after the 1985 season and a short pre-season stint with Essendon—Fuller carved out a significant legacy in the VAFA with Old Scotch. He became a decorated amateur footballer, captaining the Victorian representative team for seven years and earning All-Australian amateur selection multiple times, before later moving to the Caribbean to work as a school principal.
