Bio
Recruited from Mooroopna in the Goulburn Valley, Roger Bullen was a versatile utility who arrived at Kardinia Park during a transitional period for the Cats following their dominant early 1950s era. Standing 180cm, he was capable of playing effectively as a half-forward or rotating through the midfield, possessing a keen eye for goal that saw him average nearly a major per game throughout his career. Despite showing flashes of talent and an ability to impact the scoreboard, Bullen struggled to cement a permanent spot in the senior lineup, managing 26 appearances over three seasons before departing the VFL scene at the conclusion of the 1957 season.
