Bio
The son of former Blue Gerald Burke, Rohan Burke arrived at Princes Park from Reservoir-Lakeside during one of the most dominant eras in Carlton's history. Standing 183cm, he was a versatile flanker capable of drifting forward to hit the scoreboard, but he faced the unenviable task of trying to crack a premiership-winning squad stacked with established stars. Consequently, he found himself effectively acting as depth player, managing just 18 senior appearances across six seasons while the Blues secured flags in 1981 and 1982. Seeking greater opportunity to play senior football, he crossed to Richmond for the 1987 season but was unable to break into the Tigers' lineup, failing to add to his game tally before departing the VFL system.
