Bio
A legendary figure in South Australian state football whose AFL career was brief and injury-interrupted, Rohan Smith arrived at St Kilda after an initial stint on the Sydney Swans' list. Originally a star for the Port Adelaide Magpies, he was taken by the Swans in the 1989 National Draft but could not break into the senior side before being traded to Moorabbin for the 1991 season. The goal-kicking midfielder managed just three senior games for the Saints as fitness battles hindered his ability to impact the top level. He ultimately returned to the SANFL, where he cemented his status as a Port Adelaide icon, finishing his career with over 250 games and six premiership medallions.
