Stats
Bio
Recruited from the Camden Football Club in the Caulfield-Oakleigh District League, Ron Derrick was a local product who joined St Kilda during a period where the club frequently drew talent from that specific amateur nursery. Standing 180cm, he was elevated to the senior list in 1954, initially earning his selection to help cover a deficit in the side's roving division. Derrick managed just three games across the 1954 and 1955 seasons under captain-coach Les Foote, struggling to cement a regular spot in a lineup that collected consecutive wooden spoons. He failed to register a goal during his brief VFL tenure and departed the top level after the 1955 season.
