Stats
Bio
Recruited from Northcote in the VFA, Ron Kinder was a diminutive utility who earned his chance at Fitzroy during the 1948 season. Standing just 175cm, he offered value as a resting rover or forward pocket, roles that allowed him to utilise the goal sense that saw him kick over 60 majors during his time in the Association. His VFL career was ultimately short-lived, restricted to five senior appearances and a single goal in the maroon and blue before he exited the top flight. Kinder returned to the VFA to finish his career with Northcote, where he remained a serviceable player until the early 1950s, retiring with 90 games for the Brickfielders to his name.
