Stats
Bio
Recruited from West Ivanhoe CYMS, Ron Moylan enjoyed a rapid rise at Collingwood in 1968, elevating himself from the supplementary list to a senior debut by Round 8. A fast and strong half-forward flanker with a penetrating kick, he made an immediate impact by booting two goals on debut against Melbourne and finished his maiden campaign with the Jack Grey Trophy as the Magpies' Best Local Recruit. Despite this breakout start, he struggled to cement a regular spot in the senior lineup during 1969 and left the club midway through the following year. Moylan continued his career across the country, playing for Tongala, Wagga Wagga, and VFA side Preston before moving to Queensland, where he became a premiership player with the Mayne Tigers.
